Successful Implementation of the Solar Village Project at Valmieras tehnikums

From March 31 to April 4, students from Valmiera, Latvia together with Serbian youth from Tehnička škola IVAN SARIĆ Subotica and Italian students from CFPCemon school in Ceva, successfully worked on achieving the goals of the Solar Village project at Valmieras tehnikums.

Prior to the arrival of partner schools, Valmieras tehnikums had already prepared 12 cubes in accordance with the project’s specified requirements. One of the challenges encountered was determining the best placement for the cubes. However, thanks to the guidance and recommendations of the project’s conceptual leader, Mr. Marko Novak, the most optimal solution was found within the school premises.

The Serbian student team prepared a comprehensive presentation about their experience in installing the solar village cubes, which provided significant support and assistance in the project’s implementation at Valmieras tehnikums. Working together with teacher Danijel Mandić, all arising questions and challenges were successfully addressed.

During the same period, students from Ukraine also visited Valmieras tehnikums as part of an exchange program. They were introduced to the project’s concept and progress, observing the implementation with great interest.

This phase of the project has been successfully completed, and the Valmieras tehnikums team has now gained valuable knowledge to take to Bursa, Turkey. There, students will continue the knowledge transfer at Cavit Çağlar Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi, further advancing the Solar Village project.
