Construction of a Solar Village
The Solar Village project was implemented in partner schools through the phases of planning, material procurement, construction of modular cubes, and their digitalization. Students and mentors from different professional fields actively participated, supported by international project teams.
Material procurement was based on a shared list and common guidelines, with schools adapting to local suppliers and available materials. Special emphasis was placed on sustainability, the use of local resources, and reducing environmental impact.
The construction process provided students with valuable hands-on experience, helping them develop technical skills as well as teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability. The first implementations generated important feedback, which was used to improve instructions and documentation for future partners.
Today, the Solar Village represents a sustainable learning environment and a model of good practice in international vocational education and training
