Winning Gold and Advancing to Nationals

At the 34th Regional Meeting of Young Researchers of Lower Podravje and Prlekija, the student of School center Ptuj Slovenia Jan Paul Zadravec achieved an outstanding result, once again confirming the high quality of research work developed within the Solar Village project.

For his research project entitled “The Impact of Shading on the Temperature of Solar Village Cubes”, he received a gold award and qualified for the national meeting of young researchers. His work was carried out under the mentorship of Zdenka Kosednar.

The research is directly connected to the Solar Village project, in which students explore sustainable energy solutions and the effects of environmental factors on solar systems through practical work. In his project, Jan Paul analyzed how shading affects temperature conditions in the cubes, representing an important contribution to understanding the efficiency and optimization of such sustainable solutions.

This achievement confirms that Solar Village is not only an innovative project, but also an excellent learning environment where students develop research skills, critical thinking, and practical solutions for the future.

Congratulations to Jan Paul Zadravec and mentor Zdenka Kosednar on this excellent achievement, and we wish them continued success at the national level!
