The preparations for the construction of an innovative solar village in Serbia are in full swing. This ambitious project, set to take place from March 9 to March 16, 2025, is being led by a dedicated project team from Serbia, with valuable support from a project team from Portugal.

 

The initiative aims to establish a self-sustaining solar-powered community, integrating cutting-edge renewable energy solutions with modern, eco-friendly housing. The collaborative efforts of the Serbian and Portuguese teams ensure that expertise and knowledge are shared effectively, paving the way for a successful implementation.

 

Latest Progress Updates

As of yesterday, the team successfully installed windows in the structures, marking a significant step forward in the project. The next phase involves painting the boxes white, a task scheduled for tomorrow. Once painted, these boxes will be ready for mounting in their designated positions.

 

Additionally, the engineering team has completed the construction of the metal legs that will support the boxes. These metal components will also be painted tomorrow to ensure durability and aesthetic consistency.

 

The team has also finished assembling the panel that will hold the electronics box, a crucial component of the village’s infrastructure. Meanwhile, the protective metal sheets, which will be placed on top of the boxes to shield them from external elements, have been prepared and are ready for installation.
